BRYCE CANYON TOURS

With its mazes of multicolored rocks, Bryce Canyon offers amazing views of dramatic Utah desert landscapes.

Bryce Canyon is one of Utah’s most classic national parks, and a must-visit destination for people who love to hike and explore. Characterized mostly by its mazes of signature red, orange, crimson, and white rock pinnacles, Bryce also offers amazing views of dramatic Utah desert landscapes from its pine-studded rim. Bryce sunsets are phenomenal, and the photography is outstanding.

We offer several multi-day tours that visit Bryce, including basecamp tours that also go to Zion and/or the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument; and inn-based tours that also visit Zion, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and/or Grand Staircase-Escalante. You can view those options by clicking through the trip style options below, and you can always call us at 800-715-HIKE (4453) for more help!

WHY HIKE BRYCE
WITH US?

1. PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF EXCELLENCE

Joining a guided hike with Wildland Trekking – to Bryce Canyon or any other of our national park destinations – is a decision you can trust. At Wildland we take seriously the fact that 10,000+ people per year trust their vacations with us. Some people might feel that providing guided hiking vacations is not an important pursuit, but we feel exactly the opposite. Time is our most precious resource in this life and vacations are periods of time we set aside to make the most of, to live fully. Helping people make the most of their time and live fully is, for us, a profoundly important mission. This passion is reflected in what people say about their experiences with Wildland – check out our Utah Trip Advisor page for more.

3. LIMITED GROUP SIZES

Group size on active and adventure tours is a critical piece. Yes, if a company is running sightseeing bus tours they can maybe get away with 1 guide and a crowd of guests, but for guided trips where we’re leaving the highways behind and setting off into the wilderness, that methodology doesn’t fly. Most Wildland trips have 4-10 guests and our max size is 12. Any trip with more than 6 guests will have two guides. This approach allows us to personalize our tours, provide much higher quality customer service than large group tours, increase risk management significantly and generally provide a superior experience.

5. EASY, ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGES

What’s included on Wildland Trekking’s Bryce Canyon tours you ask? Almost everything! We provide all gear, which includes backpacks, trekking poles, crampons if necessary in the winter, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, first-aid equipment, emergency communication devices and more. As mentioned above, meals from breakfast day 1 through lunch the final day are included along with trail snacks. Transportation beginning and ending in St. George is also included, as well as all necessary permits and reservations, firewood for camp fires, of course professional guides, and more! The only items that aren’t provided are clothing, footwear, personal items, a headlamp or flashlight and water bottles.

2. BEST GUIDES IN UTAH

Ok, we’re biased, we admit it, but we do feel we have the best guides in Utah. Our team of professional Utah hiking and backpacking guides is based in St. George, which is at the footsteps of some of the most dramatic Canyon Country in America. Our Utah guides love showing guests the magic of Southern Utah’s Canyon Country. One of our mottos is that to be a great guide, one can’t just love nature – they must also be passionate about sharing that love with others. The guides that lead our Bryce hiking tours embody this motto in beautiful and effective ways. See the link above for our Trip Advisor reviews in Utah, which are sensational.

4. WONDERFUL MEALS

Meals from breakfast the first day through lunch the final day are included on all multi-day tours. On camping tours these meals are 100% prepared by your guide(s) and include hot, delicious breakfasts and dinners (yes, plenty of tea and coffee!), and picnic lunches out on the trail. On inn-based tours we enjoy lodge and restaurant meals at carefully selected establishments for breakfast and dinner, and picnic lunches on the trail. Some inn-based tours do include a sunset dinner prepared by your guide, which is a highlight for many guests.

MORE INFORMATION ABOUT BRYCE CANYON TRIPS

WHY JOIN A HIKING TOUR THAT INCLUDES BRYCE CANYON?

Many of Wildland Trekking’s Utah hiking vacations include Bryce Canyon National Park. It is one of Utah’s signature national parks; it’s a must-see highlight of Southern Utah; and it offers fantastic day hikes that are perfect for a longer hiking package. Joining a guided tour allows you to focus 100% on hiking, discovering, appreciating, and enjoying Utah’s canyon country, while we take care of everything else: meals, gear, reservations and permits, accommodations, transportation, and natural and cultural interpretation. Guides also have the ability to bring places to life through stories, local knowledge, and personal passion in ways that are difficult to emulate without a guide.

DOES WILDLAND OFFER BACKPACKING TRIPS IN BRYCE CANYON?

We offer backpacking trips in many places and national parks in Utah, but Bryce does not allow commercial backpacking. We run backpacking trips in nearby Grand Staircase-Escalante, Canyonlands National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, and Paria Slot Canyons.
