Half Day Best of Yosemite Valley Winter Tour

Your tour will start with morning pickup in Mariposa or at Autocamp Yosemite by a professional Wildland Trekking Guide. Coffee and a continental breakfast will be provided. After a short shuttle along the Merced River Canyon, we will make our way into Yosemite Valley. The first stop will be the famous Tunnel View, an iconic vantage point for views of Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome, and El Capitan. After that, we will stretch our legs on a 1 mile hike or snowshoe to the base of Bridalveil Falls. Aptly named, this 617 ft waterfall resembles a bride’s veil blowing in the wind. Continuing on our tour, we will hike/snowshoe on the famous John Muir Trail to the footbridge at Vernal Fall, another stunning Yosemite waterfall.  The next stop is Yosemite Falls, a true icon of Yosemite Valley. This waterfall towers above us at 2,425 ft. We will enjoy another short hike or snowshoe, ~ 1 mile, to the lower falls for some pictures. Lastly, your guide will provide a picnic style lunch with hot drinks in El Capitan Meadow or elsewhere depending on conditions. After lunch we will transport you back to your lodging for the conclusion of our tour.
