Devils Garden Private Day Hike
Day Hike Tours
1 Day 8MI / 13KMTrip Highlights
Join us on a day hiking tour of the stunning Devils Garden Loop in Arches National Park! This 7.9 mile trail is the longest maintained hiking trail in the park and offers a diverse range of breathtaking scenery. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you through the sandstone fins and arches of this natural wonderland, including the iconic Landscape Arch, which spans over 300 feet.
Along the way, we’ll also pass by the impressive Tunnel Arch, Pine Tree Arch, and Navajo Arch. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the geologic forces that shaped this landscape, as well as the unique flora and fauna that call this area home.
As we hike, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding red rock formations, including the towering La Sal Mountains in the distance. We’ll take time to stop and rest, and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch provided by your guide. Don’t forget your camera, as there will be ample opportunities to capture photos of the incredible scenery.
This hike is considered moderate, with some scrambling over slickrock and narrow ledges, so a moderate level of fitness and surefootedness is required. But the stunning views and unique rock formations make it all worth it!

Dakota made this day a special one. His knowledge is amazing, he is a very friendly and open minded guy. We always felt safe and he showed us magical places. We will always remember this day with a smile on our faces.

1 year agoFantastically Beautiful
Dakota, my guide, was very knowledgeable, informative, personable and flexible. We didn't just hike out to different arches and take photos. He made the whole experience of hiking in and out of Devil's Garden fun and worthwhile by explaining, in easy to understand terminology, the historical and physical geology of what we were hiking through, and providing interesting information about the flora in Devil's Garden, as well as information about the history of the town of Moab. He prepared a delicious lunch for the two of us, as well. What could have been a hasty hike in to see some arches and out to get back to the car, turned out to be a fun and memorable excursion into the fantastically beautiful Arches National Park. Thank you, Dakota, for a great day!

This was our second trip with Wildland Trekking and it won't be our last! We plan our vacations around great hiking destinations and Wildland Trekking day hikes are the highlights of our vacations. Dakota was an excellent guide! He had great knowledge of the park and by the end of the day, we felt like we were hiking with a friend.
