Alexi K.

Alexi is a self-described globetrotter, musician and bird-nerd. Alexi was born in New York City and raised in rural New England. He studied biology in university and went on to become a field ornithologist, banding birds and leading research crews in remote areas in the States and abroad. In between these jobs, Alexi backpacked through Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America, and the American West. The call of the canyons eventually drew him to Flagstaff, where he landed his dream job leading backpacking trips in Grand Canyon. When he’s not guiding, Alexi is picking his mandolin in Flagstaff or exploring the Southwest with his dog, Francis.
