ACMG Apprentice Hiking Guide, Wilderness First Responder/OFA3

Currently residing in the Okanagan, I also spend time in the Cariboo and Prince George regions, where I guide day hikes, multi-day hikes, and run a yearly hiking festival. My passion for movement and nature began 18 years ago when I completed the West Coast Trail. That journey opened my eyes to the endless possibilities that outdoor adventures can provide. I have been guiding professionally for five years, finding fulfillment in creating a welcoming, safe, and encouraging environment for those exploring the outdoors. In my daily life, I enjoy hiking, climbing, paddling, and camping with my family.

About Aubree Saulpaw

Raised in the beauty of Southern Utah with Zion National Park as her backyard, Aubree grew up playing in the desert, hiking red rock trails, and camping under the stars. The Mojave desert shaped her deep love for the outdoors. The area’s rich Indigenous history, particularly the Ancestral Puebloans and Southern Paiute tribes, sparked a fascination with culture, story, and the connection between people and place.

That early sense of curiosity led her to begin traveling internationally as soon as she graduated high school, seeking to understand the world through its landscapes and the lives of those who inhabit them. Her journey eventually led her into the travel industry as an aircraft dispatcher, creating the foundation of her understanding of global logistics and movement. But it was the opportunity to blend two great passions – cultural appreciation and the outdoors – that truly felt like the right fit.
