Your guide will meet you in the Sieur de Monts parking area at an agreed upon time well before sunrise.  Our hike begins via headlamp along the Hemlock Trail for .7miles to the Gorge Path.  We will ascend on the Gorge path .8m to the Cadillac-Dorr Connector Trail and then .5m to the Summit of Cadillac.  Together we will find a space that is relatively quiet to make coffee/breakfast and watch sun rise.  As the sun rises over Acadia, the landscape will burst to life with dramatic views of the rocky coasts and vibrant deciduous forests of Acadia. We will take some time to relax and Explore the top of Cadillac.  After breafast well take a short hike to the top of Dorr Mountain.  There’s no rush, and we’ll take our time to soak up the magic of this amazing place as your guide points out distant landmarks, tells you about the local plants and animals, and regales you with the history of the area.
