Roseana K.

Roseana comes from a big family of laborers who worked under the harsh Arizona sun like her. Her abuelito, born under a Mesquite tree in Tucson, unknowingly planted her soul in the same Sonoran desert. She grew up feeding Javelina and getting stuck full of cholla cactus. Her purpose flourished as an Environmental Science student in Flagstaff, Arizona. The new ecosystems of pinon/juniper and ponderosa ignited her connection with nature and the desire to help others find their own. She fell in love with the Grand Canyon and soon thereafter, the wonderful community of Wildland Trekking. Her education has extended from the canyons, monuments, and First Nations of the Colorado Plateau, to Rocky Mountain peaks, deep seas, and rainforests all over the world. Her second love became the grizzly country of Yellowstone National Park, where she guides. She returns to guide in the Southwest every Spring and Fall to maintain a balanced seasonal migration.
