Magda B.

Magda’s passion for the natural world and adventure has taken her across the U.S. and Scandinavia, guiding trekking, dog sledding, and skiing adventures from Alaska to Svalbard — and many places in between. She is a versatile and experienced guide with a deep love for northern climates and all things snow-related. Magda grew up in Vermont, where she was lucky to have adventure right outside her back door — and plenty of snow and maple syrup! After studying Kinesiology and Psychology in Canada, racing sled dogs in Alaska, and guiding all over the U.S., she made her way to Scandinavia to embrace her Swedish heritage. Once there, she quickly realized the mountains were calling from just next door — in Norway! She now resides in Norway, where snowy adventures are never far away. When not guiding, Magda enjoys pottery, baking, knitting, foraging, skiing up and down mountains, climbing, and anything involving huskies.
