Jhona was born in Punta Arenas, Chile and raised in Puerto Natales, living almost all his life in Patagonia. He studied Tourism and Hospitality Managment in Santiago de Chile, learning all what he needed to know to work in the field that he loves, adventure tourism. Since he was young, he’s been working in Torres del Paine Natioanl Park as a guide assistant, porter, and in operations and logistics. He’s a nature lover and passionate proponent of sustainable tourism. He loves to explore the world, experiencing and learning about differents cultures, sharing beautiful moments with people from other countries. He believes wholeheartedly that the world is way too big to stay in the same place too often! When not guiding, he enjoys cycling, hiking and learning about Chilean folklore.
