Jane F.

Jane is an outdoor adventurer, enthusiastically learning from and connecting to the natural world. She grew up hiking and trail running on the east coast in Virginia and New Hampshire. She then earned a BA in PoliSci from San Diego State, calling Southern California her home for 8 years. Jane has also spent time in India and on Maui cultivating her yoga and meditation practice, as well as leading a country wide trip in India. Jane currently lives in Colorado. She has 450+ days as a wilderness therapy guide in the Utah canyons and Colorado mountains. From these years, she’s gained in-depth knowledge and understanding of these environments as well as interpersonal communication and leadership skills. She has hiked the Washington state section of the Pacific Crest Trail and guided wilderness trips along the Sierras section in CA. Her favorite backpacking trip is in the Maroon Bells/ Snowmass Wilderness Area of Colorado. Her strengths include patience, resourcefulness and physical/ mental endurance. She encourages people to experience the full spectrum of their emotions as they come, and to cultivate gratitude and curiosity. She especially loves to invite creativity and catharsis through bush-crafting, writing and dance. In her free time, she enjoys community meals, documentaries, ultra-marathons and Black Rock City.
