Bob K.

Bob Kraus was one of our first employees and worked with Wildland Trekking for nearly a decade. He passed away from natural causes at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on October 22, 2014 doing what he loved most in this world – introducing guests to the natural world. Bob was one of a kind; a guy you immediately liked, he had an easy laugh and an easy personality. Conversation with Bob outside, around a campfire, seemed the most natural thing in the world. He did things old school, kept things simple, and his guests fell in love with him for it over the course of days in the wilderness. We’ll never forget Bob and we miss him every day.
