Barbara D.

Barbara’s love for the outdoors began in childhood, where she immersed herself in maps and books of tales and legends. For over 20 years, training in sustainable tourism, outdoor and humanitarian project management, travel and trekking have been the heart of her life.

Barbara has embarked on major expeditions, including a ski-pulka journey in Pakistan, long treks on foot in Morocco, and a year-long adventure across the Himalayas, traversing Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, India, and Nepal. During this Himalayan journey, she focused on highlighting women’s empowerment and local initiatives – a human and sporting adventure she has shared at numerous festivals and in her book, Himalaya – Regard de femmes.

Having lived in New Zealand and the UK, Barbara is driven by a deep desire to share her knowledge, connect with people, and explore wilderness areas. She regularly leads groups to Pakistan, Tajikistan, and the regions she is particularly passionate about – Scotland and Ireland.

Through her travels, Barbara delves into the lives and territories of the world’s minorities and the life that reigns there, seeking to understand and share her experiences in a meaningful way.

About Aubree Saulpaw

Raised in the beauty of Southern Utah with Zion National Park as her backyard, Aubree grew up playing in the desert, hiking red rock trails, and camping under the stars. The Mojave desert shaped her deep love for the outdoors. The area’s rich Indigenous history, particularly the Ancestral Puebloans and Southern Paiute tribes, sparked a fascination with culture, story, and the connection between people and place.

That early sense of curiosity led her to begin traveling internationally as soon as she graduated high school, seeking to understand the world through its landscapes and the lives of those who inhabit them. Her journey eventually led her into the travel industry as an aircraft dispatcher, creating the foundation of her understanding of global logistics and movement. But it was the opportunity to blend two great passions – cultural appreciation and the outdoors – that truly felt like the right fit.
