Amanda S.

Amanda grew up in Garland, Texas, where she spent her earliest years climbing trees and playing in the dirt. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in Kinesiology. In the following months, she answered the call of adventure and moved to Utah to begin working as a Wilderness Adventure Therapy Guide. The outdoors soon became a way of life for her and in 2017 she walked 3,300 miles from Delaware to California. After traveling to Thailand and Canada, Amanda found herself in North Carolina where she currently resides. In her free time she can be found foraging herbs, rock climbing and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Amanda is an enthusiastic guide that loves sharing outdoor knowledge and fostering a connection between the guests and the natural world.
