Adrianna C.

Living in Southern California Adrianna grew up camping in the Sierra Nevada’s, hiking along the coast line, and exploring every chance she could; constantly curious about the flora and fauna she found along her journeys.  Eventually she went to Humboldt State University in Northern California to expand on her interest of the natural world, earning her a B.S. in Zoology with a minor in Native American study. While there she fell in love with being amongst the red woods, the deep ferns, and of course, the banana slugs. After graduating Adrianna tried to find a foothold in the wildlife sciences. In each job she took she found she was missing something; a challenge, a sense of purpose. In an attempt to understand if she could be a guide she obtained a job in Wilderness Adventure Therapy. It was here she understood her passion for being outside and laying in the dirt meant she could never returnee to a normal 9-5. She continuous her passion for educating people on the natural world through guiding, and constantly telling her friends what bird just flew by, regardless if they asked for it or not.
