After leaving the corporate music world behind, Claire traveled and worked seasonal jobs to fuel her passion for hiking. She worked at hostels in Alaska and Colorado and at the Activities Desk in Grand Canyon National Park. During off seasons she backpacked the West Highland Way in Scotland, The Kerry Way in Ireland, Tour du Mont Blanc in France, Italy, and Switzerland, the Slovenian section of the Alpe-Adria Trail, and Hadrian’s Wall in England. As a remote working Adventure Consultant at Wildland Trekking, she is able to continue her nomadic lifestyle and has hiked in the North Cascades, Smoky Mountains, Chiricahua, Yellowstone, Mesa Verde, Zion, Grand Staircase-Escalante, Canyonlands, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Big Bend, and more.
