I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I grew up in Charleston, SC fishing and playing at the beach. I discovered the mountains during my middle school years when my dad took me backpacking in Georgia’s Cohutta Wilderness. My desire to live, work, and play in the mountains continued throughout my young adult life, and in March of 2016 I moved to Appalachia North Carolina. Here I spend all of my free time as a “river rat” or “lost” in the woods. In 2018, I left my full-time job in nursing to pursue a career in the outdoor industry as a trail guide and a SOLO Wilderness Medicine instructor. If you don’t find me on the water or in the woods, then I am traveling around the continental US in my off grid converted van.
