Emma E.
Emma can’t seem to stop playing outside. Growing up in California, some of her earliest memories are of towering redwood forests and the roiling Pacific Ocean. After graduating high school, she spent a year doing trail work in the Utah desert, volunteering at a Colorado wolf sanctuary, and backpacking in the Peruvian Andes. After graduating from Cornell University, Emma found herself drawn back to the west, where she successfully thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, afterward finding working as a farmhand in Missoula, Montana; a boat captain and hiking guide in Glacier National Park; and a naturalist in Juneau, Alaska. She currently resides in Grand County, Colorado as a WEMT, a fulltime winter ski patroller and a summer hiking and backpacking guide. Emma is passionate about the beauty and wonder of the natural world and loves sharing that passion with others.
