Cathedral Rock Private Hike
Day Hike Tours
1 DAY 7.4MI / 11.9KMTrip Highlights
Cathedral Rock Loop is our most popular Sedona day hike and justifiably so! This hike is for guests who want to experience all Sedona offers in one day: panoramas, spires, cliffs, buttes, shaded creeks, amazing photo opportunities and a lot more! We’ll pass under towering rock formations and travel over vast areas of exposed rock as we hike around the west side of Cathedral Rock and down to the clear, spring-fed waters of Oak Creek. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot with sweeping views of the surounding rock formations.
Please Note: Guide companies are not permitted by Coconino National Forest to ascend Cathedral Rock due to peregrine falcon breeding protections. Instead, this hike traverses the base of Cathedral Rock’s beautiful rock formations but does not ascend to the top.
(Important: We run hikes in almost all weather conditions and very rarely cancel. See our terms and conditions for information on cancellations and refunds.)

We have hiked with Wildland numerous times and each time we have been very pleased with our guides. Stephen guided us on our latest hike in Sedona. He taught us so much about the rock formations, the plants and the animals in the area! We truly enjoyed the experience!

Our hiking guide was excellent, knowing that we were not experienced hikers. He took the time to point out sights we would have missed. We are glad we chose Wildland Trekking for our experience in Sedona!
