Wes L.

Wes was born and raised in the small town of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He spent his entire life exploring the outdoors of southwest Colorado where he became an avid outdoorsman. Wes graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in Environmental Studies and has his EMT-IV and WFR medical certifications. While living in Pagosa Springs, he has worked as a Deputy of Emergency Management, Wildland Firefighter, and EMT. As a deputy, his duties included, backcountry search and rescue, law enforcement, wildland firefighting, and management of county emergencies. Wes loved his many roles as a first responder and has decided to take his skills and knowledge on a new adventure to the Yellowstone area as a guide for Wildland Trekking. He is passionate about guiding, teaching people about the outdoors, helping people explore the format. On his free time Wes loves hiking, camping (car/backpack/camper/horse), horseback riding, climbing, biking, hunting, archery, skiing, SAR, and exploring the Rocky Mountains.
