Emma L.
Emma was born in France in the latter half of last century. While her French heritage gave her an appreciation for good food, her British heritage is best reflected in an unconditional love for silly jokes and British comedy.
After some time spent traveling, Emma settled down in the countryside of south Iceland where she worked as a guide in one of the country’s largest museums, learning about Iceland’s culture and traditions from the source, and discovering a vocation for education.
Hearing stories from the locals sparked an even greater interest for the country and in 2013 she certified as a hiking guide from the Tourist Guide School of Iceland, starting to guide the same summer.
Emma guides all-year-round and enjoys nothing more than being in the Icelandic highlands and sharing the startling beauty of her adoptive country.
