Eddie Q.
Eddie started hiking and skiing as a boy in the Adirondack mountains of upstate NY and this love of the outdoors that started early became a lifestyle. As soon as he was able, Eddie moved to Colorado so he could spend as much time as possible hiking, biking and skiing the backcountry. His first outdoor leadership job was was teaching cross country skiing at the Nordic Center in Beaver Creek and from there Eddie worked as a guide for Meet the Wilderness introducing inner city kids to the wilds of the Colorado Rockies. Eddie has enjoyed many outdoor jobs over the years guiding trips in the US and overseas, serving as a ranger in Olympic National Park, and working as fire fighter/EMT at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Most of Eddie’s work is seasonal so he can spend plenty of time in the outdoors doing what he loves the most, backpacking, backcountry skiing and exploring the world on backroads and trails. Eddie has managed to camp on all seven continents and loves sharing his passion for the outdoors with others.
