Drew W.

Drew grew up hiking and camping as a scout in Texas. Dissatisfied with oil fields and cattle ranches, he was drawn to mountains and the ocean. He began his career in film and video production, interested in filming wildlife documentaries. Eventually he began life at sea, working in Alaska and the Caribbean filming shore excursions for cruise ships. Drew spent his days diving in coral reefs, trekking on glaciers, filming wildlife and interviewing guides and naturalists from all over the world. Inspired by those guides in Alaska, he moved to Flagstaff AZ where he could continue exploring national parks and wild places across the west. After a decade of working behind the camera, it was time to take people to these places in a more authentic way. Drew has found a new calling as a hiking guide, excited to share the places he loves – from the lush and green Pacific Northwest to the red rocks of the Southwest. In addition to a love for the outdoors and filming wildlife, he has a passion for writing, comedy and filmmaking.
