Alexandra W.
Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Alex developed a deep appreciation for nature, which led her to pursue a degree in Social Work. After graduating summa cum laude, she moved to Utah and spent three years as a wilderness therapy field instructor, ski instructing, and developing the transformative power of nature and its ability to heal and empower adolescents and adults. Fueled by a desire to travel and immerse herself in the American West, Alex started her journey on day hikes and backpacking trips but has evolved over the years into an avid ski mountaineer and rock climber. She has spent extensive time in The Sierra, Wasatch, and all over the West accomplishing physical objectives that have proven to be some of the most meaningful experiences to her. Through her own journey, she has come to understand the profound impact that nature can have on personal growth and healing. These experiences solidified her determination to build a career that would allow her to share this magic with others. Currently a generalist social worker and certified life coach, she is pursing her masters in social work to focus on adventure therapy.
