I have been a professional backpacking guide leading trips in some of the most beautiful places in the Western states for over 10 years. I am also a member of a Mountain Rescue Association certified Search and Rescue team. I’ve participated in several dozen search missions in wilderness areas all over California. I currently live near San Francisco with my wife and Barley the yellow lab.
