-Wildland Guide and Blog Contributor-

Jessie grew up in Phoenix and spent much of her early years exploring the deserts, canyons, and red rocks of Arizona.  She received her bachelors from Colorado State University in education while summiting the 14,000 ft peaks in the area and skiing .  After graduating, Jessie caught the travel wanderlust and completed her student teaching in Singapore and taught English in Quito, Ecuador for 2 years.  Jessie returned to the United States and has combined her two passions of teaching and being in the outdoors by working seasonally as a ski instructor, wilderness therapy guide, and backpacking guide.  Jessie splits her year between the snowy mountains and serene desert.  Jessie’s hope during the trips she leads is to share her love for these wild places through education and adventure.
