Sally W.
Sally comes from an active family with a love for travel and adventure. She grew up in Illinois and Germany, hiked and camped as a child, and fell in love with backpacking on her first trip at the age of 15. She is a NOLS Semester Course graduate, has a Bachelors Degrees in Outdoor Recreation and also in Spanish, a Masters Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and has traveled to more than 30 countries over six continents. Sally has worked in wilderness or adventure education programs in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, California, New Mexico, Illinois, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New York. Sally finds peace and renewal in nature and is committed to preserving our natural areas. She delights in sharing this love of nature with guests, and claims that it is these shared experiences that “make the world go round.”
