Chitra S.

Chitra is from the Okhaldhunga Distric of Nepal, which is close to Mt. Everest. He spent his childhood in a small village and completed his high school education. In 1994, Chitra started working as a kitchen helper and porter on trekking expeditions throughout Nepal. After gaining a lot of experience, Chitra was promoted to assistant guide and later certified as a Lead Trekking Guide in 2007. In the course of his career, Chitra did several trainings on Leadership, Advanced First Aid and Risk Management. He has led expeditions all over Nepal, India and Tibet. He started working with the Wildland Trekking Company in 2017. Our guests speak of Chitra’s compassionate demeanor and remarkable ability to be calm in the face of adversity. Chitra is a wealth of knowledge and a valuable asset to everyone he meets.
