Description

Have you come to the end of our fantastic Tour du Mont Blanc Trek, but you still want more days to explore the Chamonix Valley? Don’t worry we have you covered with our 3-Day Chamonix Add-on Package. We know after being in a group for a multi-day trek it is nice to unwind with some personal time and freedom to explore or just relax on your own. This package allows you to experience some of the iconic Chamonix sights and activities on your own schedule. Let us plan the hotel and activity options you can choose from. Each day set out to be as ambitious or relaxed as you desire. We plan two extra nights at your Tour du Mont Blanc’s ending 4-star accommodation, so instead of jetting off to home you can just settle in and relax. Breakfast is included each day, but all other meals are your choice.

On the first day we recommend taking the scenic gondola ride to Aiguille du Midi and experience the “Step in the Void” attraction, relax in a luxurious local spa and explore the iconic city streets and cafes of Chamonix. Our travel app makes it easy to navigate around town and gives historical information for interesting points and sights along the way. On day 2 our recommendation is to visit the Mer de Glace – “Sea of Ice” glacier using the traditional train to Montenvers. Here you can discover the glacier’s ice cave and get a better understanding of the region’s glaciers at the Glaciorium museum. Your package also gives access to many other of the Chamonix Valley’s chairlifts (Les Bossons) and cable car routes (Brevent – Flégère / Grands Montets, Balme – Le Tour- Vallorcine) to provide further freedom to explore more of the area on your own schedule. The options for fantastic views and unforgettable experiences are endless.

Make the most of your trip to the Chamonix Valley and let us do the planning. We’ll do the booking for you and you do the exploring! Interested in adding on another trip in the “hiker’s playground” of the Alps? Click here for more exciting multi-day hiking itineraries to choose from in the region.

Your travel pack also includes access to our easy to use travel app, that allows you to explore the city and history of Chamonix at your own speed as much or as little as you would like. The last of today’s highlights, and most people’s favorite, is entrance to the relaxing and luxurious QC Termechamonix Spa. Here you can kick back and re-energize from your previous days of trekking along the Tour du Mont Blanc. Lunch and Dinner today will be planned on your own and there are plenty of amazing options in Chamonix.

Day 2

After another comfortable night in your 4 star accommodations, a European buffet breakfast is again included to start your day right. Today’s recommended itinerary is to visit the Mer de Glace – “Sea of Ice” glacier by using the traditional train to Montenvers. Here you will be able to explore the glacier’s ice cave and get a deeper understanding of the region’s glaciers at the Glaciorium museum. The Montenvers Hotel near here is a great place to enjoy a snack or lunch on the deck while taking in the outstanding views of the local mountains and glacier. Your travel package also gives access to many other of the Chamonix Valley’s chairlifts (Les Bossons) and cable car routes (Brevent – Flégère / Grands Montets, Balme – Le Tour- Vallorcine) to provide further freedom to explore the area on your own schedule. Our app will help plan more Chamonix city sightseeing if desired, while providing text on interesting history along the way. Lunch and Dinner will again be free to plan on your own schedule.

Day 3

Today marks the end of your journey and includes one last European breakfast buffet included at the hotel. Check-out is planned for 11AM.
