Description

This Sedona hiking tour is for guests who want to challenge themselves and earn phenomenal 360 degree views of Sedona’s Red Rock country. Within minutes of beginning our hike we’ll be gaining significant elevation and the uphill hiking doesn’t stop until we’ve reached the summit. Bear Mountain isn’t heavily forested, which allows amazing, unobstructed views of Sedona and the surrounding landscape: you’ll see Verde Valley to the west, the Mazatzal Mountains to the south, and Humphreys Peak, Arizona’s tallest, to the north. This is also one of the few hikes in the area that provides views of native ruins.

(Important: We run hikes in almost all weather conditions and very rarely cancel. See our terms and conditions for information on cancellations and refunds.)

Great Experience

Hiked up Bear Moutain in Sedona for my 39th birthday. My guide was personable and conscientious. He challenged me on pace up vertical pushes but remained attentive to my capabilities. The experience was informative and pleasant. I will absolutely use Wildland again for future hikes.

2 Great Hikes

Hiked Cathedral Rock and Bear Mountain with Wildland Trekking. Wildland was extremely easy to deal with and the communication regarding our hikes prior to the trip was timely and useful. Our guide, Johnathan Canning was excellent. He quickly assessed our group and made adjustments to best meet our expectations. Jonathan was knowledgeable and interesting and very accommodating. Would highly recommend Wildland as a tour company and will definitely book with them in the future!
