In 2016 the owners of The Wildland Trekking Company (Brad Ball, Steven Cundy and Scott Cundy) teamed up with the owners of Wilderness Ridge Trail Llamas (Beau and Kirstin Baty) to form Wildland Llamas. It is a separate, partner company of Wildland Trekking with overlapping ownership, shared guide teams, and shared infrastructure.
With national park and forest service permits to operate guided llama treks, backpacking trips and day hike tours in multiple world class destinations in the American West, Wildland Llamas is a premier USA llama trekking and hiking company.
